If you’re a nervous patient or would like some help relaxing before dental treatment, we offer intravenous (IV) and nitrous inhalation sedation facilities.
We are one of the few dentists in Essex to offer sedation facilities at our Grays dental practice.
The sedative effects of sedation, whether IV or nitrous (sometimes referred to as laughing gas), will leave you calm, relaxed, and pain-free throughout treatment.

Root Canal Treatments (RCT)
Save Your Teeth from Infection with a Root Canal Treatment
Tooth infections need to be dealt with before they spread.
If your tooth pulp has an infection, you may need a root canal treatment.
Despite common beliefs, root canal treatments are pain free.
The initial procedure involves drilling your tooth and removing the infected pulp from the crown to the root. We’ll give you a temporary filling and ask you to return for a second visit.
The second visit will be to check the infection has gone. If it has, we’ll proceed with filling the tooth with root canal filler and sealing it with a filling or crown.
Following a root canal treatment, you can expect the tooth to last 10 years with proper oral hygiene.
